MC College Students visit to Altair Engineering / Siemens premises
On Tuesday, March 17th, we had the pleasure of accompanying students from the School of Computing at Mediterranean College Thessaloniki on an educational visit to the offices of Altair/Siemens Digital Industries Software, organised as part of the Employability Weeks 2026 initiative.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to experience first-hand the professional environment of a leading organization in the fields of technology and engineering. Through insightful presentations and discussions with Dr Dimitrios Ververidis (Senior Software Developer) and Mrs Eleni Argyriou (HR Senior Specialist, Academic Relations & Internship Programs), they were introduced to modern software applications, development processes, industry expectations, and internship opportunities.
The session also encouraged active engagement, allowing students to ask questions and interact directly with industry professionals.
Overall, the visit played a significant role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world practice, while further strengthening students’ career orientation and professional development.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Altair/Siemens team for their warm hospitality, excellent organization, and willingness to share their expertise with our students.
